Wandering North America since August 2021
In 2021 we quit our jobs, rented out our house, bought a travel trailer and hit the road with no plan.
I mean, there was some plan. But it took us about 2 weeks to find out that “plans” are for other people.
So why a blog?
We’ve done exhaustive research (it’s a personality flaw, trust me) and spent hundreds of hours scouring the internet and apps and google maps to figure this stuff out. Our blog is how we plan to share all that information with you.
Blogs are great resources but so many are slow to get to the point and prone to repeat the insights of others. The result: time consuming presentation of narrow and stale information. We strive to produce original and useful content in an easy to digest format.
What is this Blog Even About?
National Parks, campfire cooking, tiny home living. #VANLIFE if you will, but zero photos of our butts.
Travel
Exploring the US, Canada and Mexico. From cities to the middle of nowhere and everything in between. Also food.
Cooking
Campfire cooking and camping recipes that actually work. An occasional quiche with a view of red rock country.
Road Tripping
Itineraries, bucket lists, tips and trips from 2 years full time on the road. Our favorite road trips in North America.
